Education and Professional Background
Dr. Sharon Oaida earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Medicine from Grand Canyon University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and a Certificate in Public Health from A.T. Still University – Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
Following dental school, Dr. Sharon completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Mesa, where she received additional training and mentorship alongside leading specialists in Arizona. She is committed to continuing education and is currently pursuing a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Sharon is also a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and focuses on diagnosing and managing conditions related to the jaw, muscles, and joints (TMJ/TMD) and helping patients find relief from chronic discomfort.
Outside the Office
Outside of the office, Dr. Sharon enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with family, and staying active in her musical hobbies. She also has a passion for gardening and enjoys caring for her plants.
Dr. Sharon is grateful to be part of the Pleasant Valley Dentistry team and looks forward to serving the community with thoughtful, comprehensive care.
